      There was some debate whether CERN would make black holes and destroy the Earth, but there’s no worry about that: https://home.cern/resources/faqs/will-cern-generate-black-hole – CERN can make small “quantum” black holes that vanish almost immediately.

      To make a black hole you need a star that is at least 20-40 times more massive than our Sun. The Earth is way smaller than that, so it won’t ever make a black hole itself.
