Question: why acids liquid?

You can actually make solid acid crystals, like citric acid! (the image is from the Wikipedia page for citric acid)

Some definitions require that the acid has free hydrogen ions (a proton without an electron) floating around in a solution, so by definition that has to be a liquid. And liquids can mix together, so they’re easier to react with than just putting two solids next to each other.
