A lot of mass compressed into a tiny space.

      Light?

Black holes “look” black because they are so heavy that they attract everything toward them… even light. Thus, I am expecting to find light in it.

Then, you can always argue that light is just a form of energy, like matter is…

If you went into one you would find out, but you would never be able to tell anyone. That is one of the issues!

Unfortunately, I have no idea, and if I did, I would not be able to tell you.

All the information (that was there before you) that you cannot share with anyone at all!

Well, the honest answer is that nobody really knows! Inside a black hole, I’d assume you’d find everything that has fallen into it which would be a LOT of matter and energy. Eventually, you’d also find the singularity at the centre of the black hole.
