      The biggest planet that we’ve found is “HD 100546 b” (boring name because we’re discovering so many planets we can’t name them all properly). It’s nearly as big as the Sun. Planets can’t get too big or they’ll become stars – planets that are nearly but not quite big enough to become stars are called “brown dwarfs”.
