Life on other planets! There are billions of other planets in the Universe, many of which are a similar size and temperature to Earth. I think that surely one of these must have life on it, we just haven’t found it yet!

The universe has many mysteries, big and small. We still do not have a “theory of everything” that explains all of physics. But even if we had that, we would still have things to explore – I’m still finding new things out about nebulae around stars even now, although we’ve seen them for a long, long time. And then there are basic mysteries, like where I left my pliers, seriously I can’t find them anywhere and it’s annoying me. Don’t worry, though – a top expert in theoretical astrophysics is trying to find a solution to the missing pliers problem.

I think there must be a naturally occurring laser that’s formed somewhere in the universe. In Africa, billions of years ago, there were some rock formations which happened to be exactly right to act as a natural nuclear reactor. If you google Natural Nuclear Reactor you might find it. I don’t see why a natural laser couldn’t also have formed somewhere
