Question: If we used 100% of our brain would we be able to use telekinesis?

Unfortunately, the “we only use 10% of our brain” idea is a myth — we use 100% of our brains. Don’t trust the movie “Lucy” 🙂

You can see it in any movie that features an MRI or a CT scan machine, where a scientist or a doctor scans the brain of a person. It’s always lit up, showing that the brain is active everywhere, even if you’re doing something simple like looking at images.

That said, a lot of our brain is not used on thinking or solving science problems, but simply being alive. We need to constantly breathe, hold balance, listen, see things… all these things that happen naturally and you don’t really think about — they are also controlled by our brains.

Because of this, the brain consumed 20% of all the energy we get from food every day! It’s very very busy doing things that keep us alive 🙂
