• Question: how long does it take for the earth to end

      Speculating a bit here – but I think the earth will end when the sun stops. I don’t think that it’s big enough to go nova (or super nova ) or just the explode. Wikipedia says the sun is about halfway thru it’s life so the end is about 5 billion years away. I think it will run out of fuel, and then shrink and get duller.

      I suppose if the earth is hit by some other object or is captured by its gravity then it could be ground to dust or pulled out of orbit. (Pretty unlikely)

      If we are here and enjoying our current standard of living – is another matter.
