If you take one point on the Earth to exactly the opposite side of it, covering the middle, the Earth is 12,742 kilometres (in diameter). If you want to walk around it, on the equator, the Earth is about 40,000 kilometres (circumference). That’s roughly 52 million steps! 🙂

Earth is 6.371 km in comparison with the sun that is 696.340 km! This means that inside the sun we can fit almost 1.3 million piles of earth.

The ancient Greeks could already calculate this. Very impressive!
