• Question: do you think we'll ever be able to star hop to the alpha centauri system or are humans stuck in the solar system?

      Maybe in the future we will get there! NASA has talked about sending a probe there starting a few decades from now, but it will likely take a long time to get there, so don’t hold your breath, and sending humans is hard since we haven’t yet even sent anyone to Mars. There are lots of complicated problems to solve before then – like how do we keep people alive in a spaceship for that long. Maybe wormhole travel or something cool will be found at some point, but we’re not close to doing that yet.

    Because of the speed of light limit and the distance of the nearest stars, by now we have to stay in our solar system however there are lots of cool things to visit here such as the moons of saturn.
